Article on WiKirby Bronto Burt

Bronto Burts (ブロントバート, Bronto Burt) are enemies from the Kirby series.

Origin

Two Bronto Burts, as seen in their debut appearance in Kirby's Dream Land.

Bronto Burts made their debut in Kirby's Dream Land as a flying enemy, and has become a common enemy in later games. They feature a small, pink, ovular body with yellow shoes, bug-like wings, and a glaring face.

Bronto Burts are one of the most basic enemies in the series. Some of them fly constantly, while others stay perched on the ground. When Kirby approaches the grounded Bronto Burts, they take flight and chase him. They never provide any Copy Ability when Inhaled. Variants include Blue Bronto Burts and Bronto Knights.

According to the unused data, Bronto Burt was originally planned to be an enemy in The Subspace Emissary, but was ultimately scrapped.[1]

NTSC A bird that looks a lot like Kirby. Bronto Burt has clear wings that he uses to busily flutter around the skies of Dream Land. He will pull off sudden dive bombs on occasion, and although he has no ill will toward Kirby, Bronto Burt will sometimes collide with the pink hero if he gets in the way. You should be especially careful of these collisions.

In Smash Run

Bronto Burts appear as enemies in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. They fly around and attack by slashing the player with their wings while spinning. This deals multiple hits with low knockback and 5% damage total. They are easy to defeat, and thus provide little in the way of stat boosts.

Bronto Burts exhibit three possible behaviors: flying directly towards the player, flying in a sine wave-like motion, or slowly falling to ground and standing still until the player approaches, upon which the Bronto Burt launches itself up and starts flying horizontally.

Bronto Burts appear as part of the Kirby-themed Vs. Enemy Team final battle.

Trophy

The Bronto Burt trophy is exclusive to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

Their spinning attack is weak, but it can cause knock-back if it lands repeatedly.

Spirit

Bronto Burt appears as a Novice-class support spirit.

In Adventure Mode: World of Light, Bronto Burt is presumably one of the countless spirits captured by Galeem during his takeover of the universe. Bronto Burt's is located in the Forest Hill sub-dungeon in The Light Realm.

Bronto Burt's Spirit Battle uses an army of Tiny Pit puppet fighters and is fought on the Dream Land stage, which features Bronto Burt as a background character. During the battle, the Pit Team favors Upperdash Arm in the air, referencing how Bronto Burts attack by ramming into Kirby while flying in the air.
