Boney (ボニー, Boney) is a character originally appearing in Mother 3, as Lucas' dog and a party member.

Origin

Boney is Lucas' pet dog, staying with him as his friend even after Claus left and his mother died. He accompanies Lucas in combat as one of his party members, with his main ability being that he can sniff out an enemy's weakness.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Boney appears as a sticker in Brawl.

• Boney's appearance during Lucas's PK Starstorm is unusual, being the only character between both variations completely incapable of utilizing PSI in any way.
  • However, Boney holds a stronger connection to Lucas than Duster, the remaining member of Lucas's party, making his appearance not completely unusual.
