Is it true that Brawl has a slower game engine than Melee? Honestly, I think they flow at the same speed, but I have noticed that fast-fallers like Fox and Falco are a bit more floaty now. However, there was plenty of floatiness in Melee as well, so what's the truth? - GalaxiaD 00:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC) | Is it true that Brawl has a slower game engine than Melee? Sakurai warned of something like that on the DOJO!! He said that if you change a character's costume or form, then the loading time would increase. I don't know why that is, but it's completely normal. Nothing is wrong with your Wii if that's what you're wondering. - GalaxiaD (talk) 04:19, 31 May 2008 (UTC) |

Is it true that Brawl has a slower game engine than Melee? Honestly, I think they flow at the same speed, but I have noticed that fast-fallers like Fox and Falco are a bit more floaty now. However, there was plenty of floatiness in Melee as well, so what's the truth? - GalaxiaD 00:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

actually, it is a bit slower. sakurai said so in an interview with nintendo power. he said he wanted to emphasize a litlle more on the midair battle perspective than in previous games. PeetzaLink 18:58, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah it is slower. And yes Sakurai did say in the Interview with Nintendo Power (sick magazine should subscribe if you aren't). It took me about a week to get used to the speed changes. Bothered me alot. However, I like it now!L0ZE 21:17, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
