There are two videos uploaded on NicoNico of Tatsuman and Prince playing in a tournament google translates as "6th Smash Bros. Tournament" in 2007. Is those games the finals of this tournament? Tatsuman hasn't any other tournaments in 2007 recorded on this wiki. If so, that would imply that Tatsuman was using Pikachu as well.

This is a very fascinating find, but this video seems to be of emulated gameplay. You can very clearly see the bottom overlay with an FPS counter and a slight glimpse of the Windows XP window at the top of the video. In addition to that, there is a black texture whenever characters are magnified beyond the blast zone, which I believe is exclusive to certain emulators.

I believe it's still worth pursuing the origins of this video, but I don't believe that it's Kanto 2007 footage unless it was indeed played on emulator. If that is the case then the video title implies that earlier Kanto tournaments exist prior to 2006. Señor Mexicano (talk) 19:37, August 20, 2022 (EDT)
