- Yes, and I'm fairly sure he had nothing to do with discovering wavedashing. --Kirby King 20:12, February 21, 2007 (GMT)
...really? Well, I'll try and find the vid where he "discoverd" WaveDashing. mMybe that'll help... My God I'm in for a long search. XD
I searched, and I never found any info on him finding the WD. I then PM'd him, and asked if he had discoverd it.
Sadly, I havn't gotten a hasty reply, so yeah. But from what I've seen, it seems this article may be wrong.
- I'm pretty sure it's valid and he was the first one to issue a video of wavedashing. That's been thrown around the community for years now. It is not helpful in a wiki environment such as this to have new community members going around trying to disprove what other people say when there's so many articles needing creation and elaboration, but what can ya do. -- RJM Talk 14:27, September 18, 2007 (EDT)
Given the new community member notability policy, I think opposing this is the way to go. If anything, the page needs new information about the individual. He's one of the people who popularized wavedashing and that's absolutely something that needs recognition on the wiki. If it isn't deleted I'll likely go on a deep dive and see what I can do. --Plague von Karma 10:47, July 22, 2020 (EDT)
- I tagged the page for deletion on the grounds that I couldn't find anything on Toadbanjoconker after a dive of my own. However, this stuff is way more up your alley, Plague, so maybe you should give it a shot and see what's out there before we consider deletion. I don't like deleting pages just because they don't have lots of info - see wiki guidelines - but on my first search I couldn't find anything at all about TBJ aside from articles that quoted their discovery of the wavedash.
