Forums: Index Proposals Shouldn't this forum be organized the same way as the Super Mario Boards, complete with different url?
FailedPolicy.png This is a closed discussion about a failed proposed change on SmashWiki. It remains for archival purposes.
The closing administrator adds: "What kind of "proposal" is this? Should have been failed on the spot, and it got no support anyway. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 20:11, April 18, 2023 (EDT)"

Just makes a lot more sense to me that there would be a different url and whatnot. It looks nicer to me too.

I don't have any experience with webhosting, but I believe a different URL would require purchasing another domain. In the past 90 days there's been about 14 forum posts; I don't think it is worth the effort/cost. Additionally, the Super Mario Boards is used mainly to discuss the games/series, not just the wiki, which SmashBoards already does. --CanvasK (talk) 17:03, September 16, 2022 (EDT)
In addition to the reasons provided by CanvasK, the forum namespace has, for the most part if not entirely, been used solely for wiki proposals nowadays. Almost all general talk is now done in the Discord server, including Smash Arena. And for reference, the last non-wiki related forum post that wasn't made by a bot was way back in May, and before that was October 2021. Due to the fact that this namespace has now become a place for hosting wiki-related proposals, it should remain on the wiki rather than being split. For my signature. Omega Toad, the Toad Warrior. I agree with Omega Toad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathon (talkcontribs) 13:36, April 10, 2023 (EDT)
