Move Proposal

So Elon Musk has rebranding Twitter to X. A terrible name if you ask me, but that aside, this is happening, so we're gonna have to catch up. I've opened this Move Proposal up since there is some uncertainty on various bits and pieces (eg. X.com wasn't working properly for a bit and there's some questions about whether the logo is even right). It wouldn't be the first time we moved a rebranded social website's article despite the rebrand being something dumb that no one liked and summarily was ignored when talking about the site (when AllisBrawl got rebranded as "Nintendo Dojo" in a horribly failed attempt to attract a general Nintendo audience). In this case though, I'll still say give this some time and see if this isn't all some prank or if Elon gets forced to backtrack on it, or if people so resoundingly refuse to stop calling it Twitter, that we still stick with the common name (as we did with even an official game title by using "Super Smash Bros. 4" instead of "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS"). It has been a while right and I believe X should at least be a redirect no matter what and whether people continue calling it Twitter or not. NPM Morr!? 01:43, March 1, 2024 (EST)
