Meta Knight (メタナイト, Meta Knight) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

• As with all veterans returning from SSB4, Meta Knight's model features a more subdued color scheme. His mask, armour and Galaxia sword feature more detailed textures, but he otherwise appears unchanged.
• Galaxia's sword trails now appear to use reversed colors, using aqua with yellow accents instead of the yellow with turquoise accents from Smash 4.
• Meta Knight's eyes close while using his up taunt.
• In his alternate costume based off Galacta Knight, Meta Knight's Galaxia sword turns pink, similarly to Galacta Knight's lance, and his mask resembles that of Galacta Knight.

Throws/other attacks

• Pummel is faster.
