When used, Mythra slashes out with her sword multiple times. The move can be charged to increase the power and number of slashes and turned around on release. While charging, the Aegis Sword has an hitbox (similar to [[Ness]]'s yo-yo smash attacks, [[Corrin]]'s forward smash or [[Lucario]]'s [[Aura Sphere]]) that can lead to the rest of the move and be used as an impromptu anti-air or even as a situational combo finisher. Shortly before the first slash begins, Mythra briefly becomes [[intangible]]. The move only hits directly in front of Mythra, with the exception of the first hit, which hits both in front of and behind her. When fully charged or if used in the air, Lightning Buster has weight-independent [[knockback]], which makes it better against heavy characters but worse against light characters.

Overall, Lightning Buster is, by far, the strongest kill move in Mythra's arsenal, and her main way to finish stocks without relying on Pyra.

Lightning Buster (ライトニングバスター, Lightning Buster) is Mythra's neutral special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Overview

When used, Mythra slashes out with her sword multiple times. The move can be charged to increase the power and number of slashes and turned around on release. While charging, the Aegis Sword has a hitbox (similar to Ness's yo-yo smash attacks, Corrin's forward smash or Lucario's Aura Sphere) that can lead to the rest of the move and be used as an impromptu anti-air or even as a situational combo finisher. Shortly before the first slash begins, Mythra briefly becomes intangible. The move only hits directly in front of Mythra, with the exception of the first hit, which hits both in front of and behind her. When fully charged or if used in the air, Lightning Buster has weight-independent knockback, which makes it better against heavy characters but worse against light characters.

Overall, Lightning Buster is, by far, the strongest kill move in Mythra's arsenal, and her main way to finish stocks without relying on Pyra.
