:::::Let's all take a step back. I looked over the article, and there were some sections that definitely weren't NPOV. The blog post did not confirm that M2K had fixed the match, it confirmed that they discussed splitting, and instead one person gave some of the prize money to the other. I don't know if the specific rules cover this (from the blog, it seems that it's a very grey area), but from my days playing competitive MTG, this is one of the more common things that happens in tourneys. For the few SSB tourneys I organized, I really stayed out of it as I just accepted it as part of the game. Regardless, we can verify that MLG/Unity did hand down some punishment, and we can comment on what the punishment was and what they cited as the reason for it. I'd like to stay away from "community backlash" as there really isn't much that it does for anyone and it's very difficult to prove when something goes from one guy writing and blog and people join +1 versus when there actually is a SSB community opinion on it. Hope this clears things up, and M2K, if there is anything else about the page you would like to clear up, I'm happy to help. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 08:54, 17 May 2012 (EDT)

Hi.

How about you give us some sort of warning before removing most of the information from a page in future. I don't really care if you are Mew2King; you might be good at Smash, but you clearly don't know how to wiki. PenguinofDeath 05:58, 17 May 2012 (EDT)

That negative stuff about me needs to be removed
(I am mew2king. message me right now on facebook I'll confirm it. facebook.com/mew2king)
All you're doing is putting bad things about me. People get the wrong impression of me because of things written like this, including people that search my name. The MLG thing was not on purpose for example, and KTAR was because Inui and some other smashers cheated on my ex-girlfriend after she stole $1,000.00 dollars from me. No one actually knows what went on there, and I'm made to look like a bad guy when anybody that knows me knows I am the opposite. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mew2king (talkcontribs) 06:07, 17 May 2012 (EDT)
It doesn't need to be removed, it needs to be improved. If you can prove that what you have just said is true then feel free to edit the page to include the above information, but don't just remove whole reams of text when it is actually mostly true; you may have had your reasons, and other people may have been involved, but you are far from innocent, so we can't just have the page read "I'm really good at Smash, nothing else to see, move along, move along." No, because all you're doing is making me look like a bad guy, when I am by far one of the nicest, most helpful people in the community. Anybody that knows me knows this is the truth. I did not know there was a rule against the MLG splitting, I simply did not want to play that day. Ally ASKED me to forfeit so I did because we are best friends. Ktar was because I was being extremely-emo because of a girlfriend issue. I'm reporting this if you change this again because you shouldn't be able to write bad stuff about me when you don't know the entire story. It's bad first impressions like these and bullshit rumors on 4chan that have people always assume the worst about me and that's why so many people cheer against me for no reason against people like Brood and Ocean when it's completely undeserved. You obviously don't like me otherwise you wouldn't support doing this.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mew2king (talkcontribs) 06:19, 17 May 2012 (EDT)
Wikis are neutral, they report on the facts, and don't intentionally write articles of someone to make them appear more or less favorable. In your case, those splitting incidents and such, are both verifiable, and notable events in regards to you. As such, the Wiki will cover them, albeit in a neutral tone, and written under a section in regards to controversy about you. If you think you're being singled out, with other smasher articles not covering controversies in their articles, it's because people haven't gotten around to writing them yet, rather than the Wiki intentionally singling you out (same reason your page is severely outdated in tournament information and such).
Now if you think your article isn't covering you well outside the controversies, fill in the missing tournament information and other notable events/contributions to the Smash community, but don't remove legitimate information on the basis that it puts you in a negative light.
As for people cheering against you, either suck it up, or do things to get them to root for you again. For your matches against Brood and Ocean, keep in mind people like cheering for the underdog, especially when that underdog is using a much lower tier character against the best in the game. Nationalities are mostly irrelevant; people would pretty much cheer for any R.O.B. player doing well against any top Meta Knight deep in tournament.

So what were trying to do is compromising so we will still have the facts but not trying to hurt M2K with wrong and hurt facts. ..... The Pylon Ninten's sprite from Mother/EarthBound Zero, formerly used in Dots's signature. 09:11, 17 May 2012 (EDT)
