PAL

You claim that the Koopalings are called "Bowser's Minions" in Europe. My claim is that the Koopalings are called "Bowser's Minions" in PAL regions. PAL is used by video game players to talk about areas that use the PAL television standard, which is Europe and some other places. Therefore, for this situation, PAL = Europe and therefore we mean the same thing. --CanvasK (talk) 13:50, March 20, 2022 (EDT)

I don't excatly understand 78.225.38.5 13:59, March 20, 2022 (EDT)
Televisions (TVs) in different countries display images/video differently depending on that country's electrical system and TV regulations. American (or at least United States of America) TVs were based on the NTSC standard, and since every TV in America uses NTSC then America is called an NTSC region. In Europe, and some other areas, the TVs used the PAL standard, and since every TV in Europe uses PAL then Europe is called a PAL region. You can look at this map and see that PAL covers most of Europe. Since PAL covers more than just Europe, it is better to say "PAL regions" because it includes more of the areas where "Bowser's Minions" is used. --CanvasK (talk) 14:07, March 20, 2022 (EDT)

there is not any TV… whatever, that not only in PAL or in Europe 78.225.38.5 07:07, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
Take a look at this image and see if that helps you understand; European TVs use PAL, Australian TVs use PAL, some Asian TVs use PAL, so for simplicity we call those all PAL. Stop edit warring over this. --CanvasK (talk) 07:22, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
Don’t try to say I’m ignoring ur arguments cuz u also ignoring my comment summary, the Koopalings are telled Bowser minions globally 78.225.38.5 07:51, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
Globally... in countries that use PAL. In the countries that don't use PAL, they aren't called that. --CanvasK (talk) 07:53, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
From a historical standpoint, the regional difference exists. This is enough for us to make the distinction, even if the terms are not used today. There is nothing to discuss on this matter. Black Vulpine the 🦊Furry🐺. Furries make the internets go! :3 07:54, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
decidedly you still don’t understand that I don’t care about the PAL region, moreover your arguments make no sense and have nothing to do whit what I wanted to say at the beginning, in fact I just say a minor word about Europe and you started to talking about something that has nothing to do whit the subject of bases and after you complain that I ignore your arguments, if you also ignore my comments, well that give me a very good reason to ignors yours, but what really make me angry is that you like dare to even put the blame on me without even bothering to read (or think about) my editing comments and you just settle for believing that you what you say is true 78.225.38.5 09:01, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
Ok, let me make sure I understand your argument. You are saying that they are called "Bowser's minions" in not just PAL but also Europe, correct? --CanvasK (talk) 09:30, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
yep, and also in many other countries 78.225.38.5 09:40, April 18, 2022 (EDT)
