PAL

You claim that the Koopalings are called "Bowser's Minions" in Europe. My claim is that the Koopalings are called "Bowser's Minions" in PAL regions. PAL is used by video game players to talk about areas that use the PAL television standard, which is Europe and some other places. Therefore, for this situation, PAL = Europe and therefore we mean the same thing. --CanvasK (talk) 13:50, March 20, 2022 (EDT)

Televisions (TVs) in different countries display images/video differently depending on that country's electrical system and TV regulations. American (or at least United States of America) TVs were based on the NTSC standard, and since every TV in America uses NTSC then America is called an NTSC region. In Europe, and some other areas, the TVs used the PAL standard, and since every TV in Europe uses PAL then Europe is called a PAL region. You can look at this map and see that PAL covers most of Europe. Since PAL covers more than just Europe, it is better to say "PAL regions" because it includes more of the areas where "Bowser's Minions" is used. --CanvasK (talk) 14:07, March 20, 2022 (EDT)
