The Administrators' noticeboard is intended to be a page to quickly alert the administrators to issues that need their attention.

To make a request or statement, create a new section and provide a neutral, precise summary of events with thought-out reasoning, and, if possible, links to any pages with relevant discussions. It is also a good idea to notify any users involved with the request with a link to the section on this page. Make sure to add new sections to the bottom.

Report vandals and sockpuppets at the top of the appropriate section labeled for such reports at the using {{IP|Username}}, where Username is the name of the user or the IP vandal's IP address.

For reporting similar and unacceptable usernames, report them here instead of on this page. This is done to keep the reports in one place, and because unacceptable usernames can be more subjective (unlike vandal/spam accounts), which may necessitate discussion (which the linked page will be more suited to handle).

Thought I just say something random about the recent vandalism on this wiki.

Eh, idk, but there is definitely sockpuppetry going on. It reminds me of a vandal that had to be dealt with a few years ago named Mr. Curious. Y'know, creating new pages with absurd titles is not a very effective form of vandalism. It's annoying to us, but anyone coming here to look up information isn't going to be hindered at all. Conversley, it's an invisible mess that's much more of a pain to clean up afterwards. You can argue it both ways, I guess. I personally would sooner have a more visible mess that no-one ends up seeing because it get's RB'ed within seconds, rather than a slightly less apparent mess that takes ages to get rid of. I think that we should let them do this. It is easier to clean up, as we just add d tags. It won't effect casual surfing. Don't make it harder to vandalize, as then it is also harder to check for real changes in rec changes and history. What do you think? DekZek's got a point, we can't treat vandals like it's a problem we can permanently solve. It's a problem we will always face on any Wiki. The best thing we can do is add d tags and revert when necessary. Disaster Flare (talk) 12:18, 22 October 2015 (EDT)

I didn't really think that this section was to do with how to get rid of the vandals. We simply can't, but just blocking them and reverting their edits. If we get attacked daily, then we just have to prevent the vandals from doing damage. Dots (talk) The Smiley 13:25, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
