Shared Content is an online mode that was added in version 3.0.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This mode acts similarly to Share in Super Smash Bros. 4, allowing users to share, download, and endorse Stage Builder levels, Mii Fighters, and videos created by other users.

Endorsing is done by clicking a "Yeah!" button, which acts as a "like" button similar to other community sites. Content with the most amount of likes are shown in a “Hot!” category, amongst other categories for the content said before hand. The second one is IDs. All content in Shared Content has it’s own ID and you can search them up.

Another asset that is used in community sites is that searching for content. There are 3 options of searching, one way is by keywords in a certain content. Another way is by details, you pick what category you want, for example Stages or Mii Fighters. Videos have 2 types that you can search, replays and edited videos., Replays also have their own details, you can change the fighters to a specific one or all of them. You also can change the format from Smash to 1-on-1, Team Battle or other. This is exactly the same for Spectate. For Miis you can also pick the type, gunner or sword or brawler, or you can look them up all together. Stages you can For stages you can look up the size,  big though small. You can also see how many players can play, 1-4 players or 1-8 players. One of the last ways is Creator, the types are People you follow, Friends or yourself. You can also check your follower list from here. The last way is you see the content that you clicked “yeah” on.

Shared content appears to feature a moderation system, put in place to disallow users from uploading potentially sensitive content, such as stages shaped in the form of sexual poses or prohibited imagery. Users can report other users who upload such content by clicking on the user, then clicking the report button; whether moderation is done automatically is unknown, however.
