Naked Snake (disambiguation)

Template:Nihongo (or Naked Snake) is a central character in the Metal Gear series, reputed to be "The Greatest Warrior of the Twentieth Century." He is first introduced in the original Metal Gear under the codename Big Boss, where he is the founder and commanding officer of FOXHOUND as his codename indicates, but is later revealed to be the terrorist leader in the end of the game. He returns to resume his antagonistic role for the second and last time in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater depicts his rise to power, while Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops details his foundation of FOXHOUND. His recent and final appearance was at the ending of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots where he made peace with his "son" Solid Snake before dying from the FOXDIE virus inside Solid Snake.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Naked Snake appears as a Sticker and a Trophy in the game. No where else is he mentioned or seen besides the Sticker and Trophy sections. Notably however, Solid Snake's head is based on Naked Snake's from MGS3.

Trophy Description

As a Member of the special forces unit FOX, Naked Snake assassinated The Boss and ruined the Shagohod, a soviet nuclear weapon. Years later, he was used to plant the seeds of Les Enfants Terribles, a project design to create cloned super soldiers. The three Snakes-- Liquid, Solid, and Solidus--were thus born. He would embrace his name, Big Boss, and duel Solid Snake.
