The Golden Hammer allows the player to swing faster than the regular hammer and the Golden Hammer is also much stronger than the regular hammer. When a Golden Hammer appears, a small song is heard. When the player grabs the hammer, the "Power-Up Music" is played. The Golden Hammer is a rare item that is hard to obtain for certain levels. In ''Brawl'', the Golden Hammer is a rare, but very powerful item. Also, when the hammer appears, the same song can be heard. When a player picks up the hammer, the same "Power-Up Music" is heard. The Golden Squeaky Hammer, however, never appeared in ''Wrecking Crew''.
