IIRC the decision to keep the order of fighters and stages in Ultimate in a predetermined order based on the series and several other criteria was made relatively early on in the release of Ultimate. I feel as though now that there has been several years passing since the release, that many people are now used to the in-game order of the fighters, and feel as though there should at least be an option to switch between the two. :I'm not sure how something like that would actually work though. The way the table is formatted kinda makes it impossible to do so from what I know about Wiki formatting. But I agree it's not sensible to have the roster order the way we currently do. I don't know who made that decision, but I certainly wasn't involved in that process. ::Looked more into it and it would seem we would need to specify a sorting key for each fighter? https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Sorting, so where it says `{|class="wikitable" style="text-align:center;margin:1em auto 1em auto;"` in the character table template, replace "wikitable" with "wikitable sortable."
