King of the Mountain (氷山大脱走, Iceberg Great Escape) is the 11th event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The player is pitted against two Ice Climbers with the same color scheme on Icicle Mountain and has 62 seconds to survive without being KO'd. The movement of Icicle Mountain is random; sometimes it moves up fast, sometimes the movement is slow. Whenever a pair of Ice Climbers are KO'd, they will respawn immediately. While the player does not need to KO any Ice Climbers to clear the event, the amount of Ice Climbers KO'd is used for the high score of the event.
