(→‎Trivia: Since Heihachi had this trivia on his page, I thought it was noting on Dante's page as well, even if the depiction they went with in that game is one that is...less than appreciated from the fandom.)

Article on Wikipedia Dante (Devil May Cry)

Dante (ダンテ, Dante) is the main protagonist of Capcom's Devil May Cry series.

Origin

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

As a costume

Dante will be released as a DLC Mii Swordfighter costume on June 29th, 2021, alongside Kazuya Mishima, with his design being based on the first game.

Trivia

  • Dante, using his depiction from DmC: Devil May Cry, appears as a playable character in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a similar crossover platform fighting game made by a current console rival of Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment.
  • As with other Mii Costumes based on characters from primarily M-rated franchises, the logo for Devil May Cry, the series Dante hails from, is absent in the American version of his Mii Costume reveal trailer, being replaced with a wordmark featuring the character's name. Unlike previous examples, this change was also present in the UK presentation. This also applies to Dragonborn.
