SSBWU's Damage Meter

In SSB Wii U, whenever someone KOs somebody else, sometimes there's like an explosion or something on the Damage Meter, even if you never KO'd anybody. What does this mean?? Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 23:09, 5 March 2016 (EST)

Every time you are accredited to KOing an opponent in Smash Wii U, flames surround your meter for a brief moment. There is some aesthetic flair in Smash 4 that I am adding to this article in a second. I'm not aware of any other situations where that occurs, perhaps explain how and when you saw it happen. Look at 1:20 in this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLZflCT3xz4 When Zelda is KO'd, Villager gets the point, but flames surround Sonic's meter.
