Mario's F.L.U.D.D., as it appears in Brawl.

F.L.U.D.D. is Mario's down special move in Brawl. When used, the F.L.U.D.D. sprays opponents with water. Holding the B button down with the F.L.U.D.D. will charge the intensity of it's next shot. This weapon does not deal damage to its targets; it pushes them away. This weapon can even be charged while shielding. F.L.U.D.D. is short for Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device. Created by Professor Elvin Gadd, or E. Gadd, this weapon made its first appearance in Super Mario Sunshine. It reappears in Brawl, replacing the Mario Tornado from the previous two installments. The Mario Tornado, however, will be reappearing in Brawl as an aerial attack.
