Tournament talk:EVO

Template

I think it would be a nice addition to write an event template different from a Event Edition template. The wiki currently have a template for event/tournament editions (Apex2014, Apex2015, etc) but not one for a tournament series, like Apex, EVO, CEO, etc -- PFFP June 22, 2015

Are you referring to an infobox for the top-right of a page? It's true, we don't have an infobox for tournament series at the moment. If people want such a thing, I don't see any real reason not to go for it. Miles (talk) 22:45, 29 July 2015 (EDT)

Yes, exactly, but I suck at wiki text and the last time I messed with templates everything went downhill. I think the crucial info a Event Infobox should display is:

Logo

Founded

Region/Country

Current champion

website

Organizers

Page URL

Since it's a tournament series, like Apex, to rename the page URL (and title) to match the tournament status? "EVO (tournament series)" or the full name with a redirect page from "EVO" to "Evolution Championship Series". -- PFFP June 22, 2015
