Fresh New Faces! is a Spirit Board event focused on spirits from games released after the end of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's development. It will run from 6 a.m. on January 12, 2024 to 6 a.m. on January 17 (UTC). During the event, defeating spirits on the Spirit Board which are part of the event will award more Gold than usual.

- New spirits have made their way onto the Spirit Board!
- Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual. Don't miss out!

Trivia
- This event was teased during the event SSB Ultimate Is Five Years Old! as the first of four Spirit Board events.
- This is the first new Spirit Board event of 2024, and the first event to introduce new spirits to the game in two years.
- Unlike the remaining three spirits, the Noah & Mio spirit does not feature their series name, being Xenoblade Chronicles, on the battle screen, nor in the list of spirits. Despite this, the series logo is still present.[2]
