- We use what was used at the time of publishing. If a tournament or forum post uses the old tag (which would be their current tag at the time) and someone sees a different tag here, then there will be confusion. --CanvasK (talk) 08:19, July 9, 2022 (EDT)
- Canvas is right. We don't change instances of the old tag on the wiki since we still need to preserve the old tag for documentation purposes and historical accuracy, which you can read about here. In addition by reverting Canvas's changes you are engaging in edit warring. Next time, instead of making one comment, ignoring what Canvas said, and even removing it -- we don't remove talk page posts -- just bring the discussion to the talk page and we can sort it out there. didn't expect to have transphobes on the melee wiki especially after I've added more than half these melee pr's over the years, even conducting interviews with 2007 players to try to find the lost to time 2007 brawl pr. Also I didn't pick up puff until covid hit in 2020 stop adding her next to the old PR's it's not accurate
