Mii Fighters in Classic Mode

If the Mii Fighters are no longer playable in Classic Mode, then why are there fighter spirits of the Mii Fighters? It makes absolutely no sense as to why the Miis would be playable in Free-For-Alls and World of Light, but not Classic Mode. Sonic, the Cheerful Speedster 13:27, 3 December 2018 (EST)

I have found something

If you hover over a mii fighter, it uses it's official render, however selecting them will change it to a model doing the pose, this is noticalbe if unlocking one of the three miis unlocked in World of light 73.15.147.53 21:10, February 4, 2021 (EST)

That's noted in the second-to-last trivia point. It's done this way to allow for custom Miis to be rendered on the CSS when selected; having the very specific defaults be the only ones to be rendered differently when selected would be jarring. --CanvasK (talk) 21:22, February 4, 2021 (EST)
