Mew2King has forfeited tournament matches on several occasions, often claiming fatigue or lack of interest in response to his detractors who cite financial gain as his motivation. At MLG D.C. 2010, he allegedly lost against Diddy Kong main ADHD in loser's finals in return for $300 because he felt that he could not defeat Olimar player Rich Brown in grand finals, which was confirmed by ADHD in a blog post.
