| I would recommend that you get [http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/ Mozilla Firefox] - I used to use Internet Explorer and I had the same problem of it crashing when using SmashWiki. Firefox is much better than Internet Explorer, and you can get all sorts of different add-ons as well, like [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16 ChatZilla] (an IRC client, so you can chat to other SmashWiki contributors without having to use [http://irc.wikia.com/gaming/ Wikia's rubbish Gateway]), [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 Adblock Plus] (which blocks adverts, which is actually more useful than you'd think), and [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3366 an English Dictionary] (which underlines in red any word which it doesn't recognise, making it perfect for checking your spelling on SmashWiki). Those three should be enough to start with, and will make editing quite a bit easier. All the downloads are free, you don't need to make an account with them or anything, and it should take only a couple of minutes in total. (And no, I'm not being paid to say this!) | :I see what you mean and I have been wanting to get it. The thing is, I am only 15 and my mum disagrees with me. She will not allow me to download it. I have IE8 which does have a built in spellchecker which I use when checking over new edits. When I get my new laptop, I will use Firefox but until then, I will have to try and make do. I am pleased that I am not the only one who suffers this problem.
