There's a good chance that if you begin to participate in the competitive community, you'll hear some story about Isai sandbagging in Singles at a tournament somewhere and if you don't know what it means, this should be the place to find out. --<font color="000023">RJM</font> Talk 19:55, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

:Well, the No Johns article was deleted as well. It was a horribly-written page and now redirects to what a "john" is. I was pretty sure that it was a personal nickname from what I got from other users. I've never actually heard this term used at all, so maybe it's a regional thing? ::It's certainly not regional--I'm actually quite surprised you haven't heard it (here's some worthwhile discussions) but in any case, I wouldn't defend a poorly-written article. The "johns" article needs a serious once-over as well, but I think it's more important to tag them with cleanup instead of deletion. That way if this mess of a wiki ever sorts itself out, I might actually get around to polishing it again. --<font color="000023">RJM</font> Talk 21:39, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Do not delete this page

Yeesh, this is another one that never would've even come up pre-merge. This is widely-used terminology, right up there with "no johns" and is commonly understood amongst smashers attending inter-regional tournaments. There's a good chance that if you begin to participate in the competitive community, you'll hear some story about Isai sandbagging in Singles at a tournament somewhere and if you don't know what it means, this should be the place to find out. --RJM Talk 19:55, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, the No Johns article was deleted as well. It was a horribly-written page and now redirects to what a "john" is. I was pretty sure that it was a personal nickname from what I got from other users. I've never actually heard this term used at all, so maybe it's a regional thing? It's certainly not regional--I'm actually quite surprised you haven't heard it (here's some worthwhile discussions) but in any case, I wouldn't defend a poorly-written article. The "johns" article needs a serious once-over as well, but I think it's more important to tag them with cleanup instead of deletion. That way if this mess of a wiki ever sorts itself out, I might actually get around to polishing it again. --RJM Talk 21:39, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
