'''Double Down 2022''' is an ongoing [[List of national tournaments|supermajor]] which is taking place on July 8th-10th, 2022 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and features tournaments for both ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' and ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]''. It is the sequel to {{Trn|Royal Flush}} and was previously set to be the first Platinum tier stop on the [[Smash World Tour 2020|2020 Smash World Tour]] for both games on June 5th-7th, 2020 prior to its postponement due to the [[2019-20 COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on competitive play|coronavirus pandemic]]; the tournament is instead a Platinum stop on the [[Smash World Tour 2022]] for both games.
