When adding other characters to a smasher infobox, only add characters that are ''legitimate secondaries'', which means the player uses them in actual tournament sets (so no characters they just fuck around with on streams), against legitimate opponents (so not just pool scrubs they could beat with anyone), with some real degree of success (so not a character they bust out just to lose with), and with some matter of frequency (so no one-offs like Nairo's Ult Ganon either). And it has to be reasonably current; if the player no longer uses the character (or within like the last six months or tournaments of their career for retired players), then don't list them either, or if the player did have significant enough usage and success with the character, then they can be listed as a retired character instead (like Armada's Young Link). This may seem heavy-handed for you just adding a single character to a long-retired player's infobox, but we really do not want our infoboxes becoming the bloated messes they used to be before, and I do not know if you ever got the memo on it when you're not in the discord server and I never seen you participate in the prior linked forum thread nor the subsequent cleanup. [[User:Omega Tyrant|Omega]] [[User talk:Omega Tyrant|Tyrant]] [[File: TyranitarMS.png ]] 08:40, March 14, 2023 (EDT)

== Stubbing ==
Hi, the smasher articles you have been creating had just enough put into them to not be deemed low effort, but if you're not going to write any more non-results content than just a sentence or two that only states who someone plays and where they're from, at least tag them as [[Template:Smasher-stub|stubs]]. [[User:Omega Tyrant|Omega]] [[User talk:Omega Tyrant|Tyrant]] [[File: TyranitarMS.png ]] 21:55, May 18, 2023 (EDT)
== A heads up ==
Hi, we recently decided that with results on Smasher pages, we want to start listing the amount of entrants each tournament had in addition to the player's placement, as well as denote '''majors''' by bold text and '''''supermajors''''' by bold + italic text. Refer to our [[SW:SMASHER#Tournament results|guidelines]] for how it should be formatted. Any results you add to the wiki from now on should abide to this, even if it's currently inconsistent with how the rest of the results on someone's page is displayed (though we would also appreciate people fixing this for already listed results too, since it's work that cannot be relegated to bots). [[User:Omega Tyrant|Omega]] [[User talk:Omega Tyrant|Tyrant]] [[File: TyranitarMS.png ]] 10:54, June 8, 2023 (EDT)
:Kinda going along with this, but you should use [[List of major tournaments|this list]] to help you mark tournaments that are majors/supermajors, since I saw you marked a few tournaments as majors/supermajors when they aren't (eg Ultimate Nimbus and Shine 2022 were marked as majors when they are superregionals) while also missing a few (eg Glitch 7 was marked as a major when it should be supermajor; Smash Sounds was not marked as a major when it should be a major). Hey just another quick heads up, I noticed you are one of the few editors who don't use the Trn template for tournaments. I would recommend doing that from now on mainly because we now have a new parameter for the template that would denote whether the tournament is a major/supermajor or not (eg <nowiki>{{Trn|The Big House 10|g=SSBM}}</nowiki>). That way, if a tournament is later deemed to be one or is demoted, the change can be made without having to go through every single Smasher page. == Several things ==
I think I should point out some issues u've been having/had before with ur editing. First, I still see u marking pages with results or smasher-stub tags. I think u should include more info like wins in the intro so they wouldn't be stubs. And when u listed enough results the result tags ain't really necessary. Second, you've been having dubious inclusion with other characters in infoboxes on smasher pages. Not every characters that are listed on somebody smashdata.gg profile should be listed. Also not those characters who were only ranked like once and then never seen usage again. Some of which are one-off characters that probably weren't used seriously. To check if the smasher really seriously picked up the characters you should click on those character icons on the smashdata site to check the usage and date as well as using the "retired characters" parameter for characters that the players clearly stopped using but clearly saw continuous legit usage at some point.
