The Ward is one of the top Super Smash Bros. Melee crews in all of Queensland, Australia. It is currently in competition with TECH TEAM.
Based mainly around the northern end of the gold coast, The Ward was established in early 2005 by original members K-0S, Vyse, Sieg, Yokai, Azure Rune, and Undead Moose. The Glitter Strip (a.k.a. the Gold coast) has played host to SQUAT 1, 2, and 4, which acquired new and valuable members.
The Ward's home page for the time being is a large SSBM guild on the online forum Gaiaonline.com. The Ward are largely unranked nationally, except for Radiance and Tristan, due to the financial hurdles surrounding travel.
