Split[edit]

I was thinking we should split this template between Umebura and Umebura SP. Considering Umebura SP is technically a new series and also considering that the template would grow to be pretty big, I think this would be a good idea. Pokebub (talk) 15:03, 14 January 2019 (EST)

Added the split tag here since it would show up on pages using this template if placed on the main page. Pokebub (talk) 01:35, 16 January 2019 (EST)

  • Agree that something here should be split.. Umebura 1-7 was for Brawl and 8-10 for 3Ds, maybe split that as well. Maybe instead of making separate groups for year, make separate groups for games? Or if it's possible to make groups for game and sub-groups for year that could be a good idea. EDIT: Navbox_subgroup doesn't work here.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Navbox_subgroup Patzui (talk) 06:09, 12 February 2019 (EST)
Wait. There has only been 2 Umebura SPs so far. If they, for some reason, change it back to Umebura, then we'll have to merge the sections again. SugarCookie 420 21:31, 1 March 2019 (EST)
Bump. I myself am entirely indifferent to splitting this template, but it seems that they haven't changed it back to just Umebura yet. If the trend for Ultimate tournaments is to be named Umebura SP, then it's a matter of discussion if that warrants a split. Acgamer28 12:58, April 21, 2020 (EDT)
I'm more opposed to it since technically it's still part of the Umebura series, albeit now with the "SP" to signify Ultimate tournaments. Several other Japanese tournaments have followed suit, eg. Sumabato, Karisuma, and Shulla-bra, and we included both SP and non-SP tournaments on there. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 13:05, April 21, 2020 (EDT)
Forgot I even made this lol. Anyways, I've changed my position to oppose. I think the template is fine as it is. Pokebub (talk) 15:05, May 6, 2020 (EDT)
Oppose and bump. It's fine at what it is. 46.229.158.109 05:16, May 14, 2020 (EDT)
