Big change to air dodging?[edit]

can someone link a source or it's speculation... blah blah... you know the drill. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:31, October 19, 2007 (EDT)

How does dodging look like sidestepping in the air? Do we really need this? ~Teh Blue Blur~~You're too slow!~ 12:23, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

When you hit down while shielding, it looks similar to the air-dodging animation.Smoreking(T) (c) 14:34, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Oh, trust me with my brain... I thought it was air dodging! Loliamstupid. Later. ~Teh Blue Blur~~You're too slow!~ 14:40, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Melee air dodge recovery?[edit]

Could a better form of measurement be used instead of inches? I don't know what kind of "inches" the author of the article means. 25T16 DrMarioHeadSSBM.png It's-a me! 17:28, 4 September 2011 (EDT)

Agreed, I'll fix it later. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 17:41, 4 September 2011 (EDT)

Move[edit]

Self-explanatory, our page name policy covers this. Support? Qwerty (talk) 22:03, 23 November 2014 (EST)

If we have a policy that states it, it should probably be moved no matter what. But support. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 16:13, 1 December 2014 (EST)
Yeah, why hasn't this been moved already? Support. FirstaLasto 01:57, 7 January 2015 (EST)
Support. Simply "air dodge" is better. Or then shouldn't we also say "Grabbing", "Smash attacking", etc.? Badass Nidoking.png DracoRexKing 21:52, 9 September 2015 (EDT)

If so, should we also rename Rolling to Roll and Sidestepping to Sidestep? Dots (talk) Link OoT Dots.PNG The Player 18:37, 12 January 2015 (EST)

See Talk:Dashing; it's not an easy decision. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Boss 19:59, 12 January 2015 (EST)

You don't do an air dodging. You do an air dodge. I lend mah Support. Smashedpotatoes (talk) 02:36, 11 September 2015 (EDT)

Airdodge invincibility errors for Smash 4[edit]

It wrongly states for the Smash 4 section that all air dodges had 1 frame of invincibility removed from the end, but it was actually only sidesteps and rolls that received that change (look up the smashboards 1.1.0 patch notes to verify). It also seems like someone edited all the invincibility frame data for Smash 4 under this assumption that air dodges were changed. Comparing air dodge frame data on ssbwiki to frame data from kuroganehammer.com (only post 1.1.0 data), kuroganehammer lists 1 extra end invincibility frame on every character I checked. So just wanted to explain before I edited all of this. Horseketchup (talk) 11:44, 23 September 2015 (EDT)

Origin?[edit]

Is this technique inspired by a non-smash game? Radfox35 20:51, 12 November 2015 (EST)

As far as I know, no. Serpent SKSig.png King 20:51, 12 November 2015 (EST)

Technique[edit]

Can this be really counted as a technique? PoultrysigSSB4.pngPoultryPoultrysigSSBM.png(talk) the Pumpkin Pie 15:19, 12 March 2016 (EST)
