In November 2014, Flash traveled to Oakland, California to compete at {{Trn|Do You Fox Wit It?}}, an {{Trn|Apex 2015}} qualifier. In his North American debut, Flash defeated {{Sm|Dr. Z}} and {{Sm|Azusa}} in pools. After finishing as the 3rd seed in his pool behind {{Sm|SFAT}} and {{Sm|Westballz}} and placing in bracket, he proceeded to defeat {{Sm|MacD}} before losing to a close 2-1 set to {{Sm|Lord}}. During his stay in Northern California, Flash attended two of NorCal's weekly tournaments, Get Smashed At the Foundry 24 and 25. At his first appearance in the local, Flash defeated {{Sm|Alan}}, {{Sm|Laudandus}}, and {{Sm|Toph}}, but was swiftly double-eliminated by {{Sm|Shroomed}}, rounding up to 3rd place. However, in his second appearance, Flash made a series of upsets by defeating {{Sm|HomeMadeWaffles}}, {{Sm|SFAT}}, {{Sm|Silent Wolf}}, and Silent Wolf once more in Grand Finals, finishing in first place. Along with {{Sm|Nintendude}}, {{Sm|PPMD}}, and {{Sm|Leffen}} he is one of the four out-of-state players to ever win a Get Smashed At the Foundry tournament with a Top 3 NorCal player in attendance.
