Background and Melee

Beat is a Captain Falcon main from Philadelphia, PA, and a member of The Smash Affiliates. His secondary is Samus (his former main of three years), though he dabbles in other characters. His best attribute is his movement game, though he lacks any other abilities, including rational thought or logic. On several occasions he has claimed "If I couldn't waveland, I wouldn't even play this game, because it looks so pretty".

Beat is often seen with fellow TSA member, Scar, his friend and rival of 14 years. Beat is known for being particularly loud and obnoxious in friendlies, renowned for the ability to crush spirits through trash-talk.

His name is inspired by Beat, a character from the DS game The World Ends With You, as well as his inability to focus during tournaments without listening to music independent of the game.

Though he has entered several team venues alongside Roykid as "Team Bocogirl", Roykid has all but retired, leaving Beat to team with random partners.

Former aliases include "Hawk", "Chocobo" and "Stinkoman K".

Brawl

Though he often comments upon Brawl's inferiority to Melee, Beat frequents the PA/NJ/MD tournament scene for Brawl. Beat can often be identified by his habit of mimicking his characters' taunts as they perform them.

Beat mains Ike despite his low placement on the tier list, describing Ike's ability to use a Zweihänder-style sword with one hand as "ballin'".

As Beat is indecisive and can't focus for long, his choice in mains can change on a whim.

He currently teams with fellow NE Philly Brawlers, Cless and Ultimodragon.
