Arby competed regularly until {{Trn|Apex 2012}}, after which he retired. During this first period of his career, Arby achieved the #1 rank in Arkansas as a {{SSBM|Captain Falcon}} main. He returned to the scene in 2015 as a {{SSBM|Marth}} and was active until the summer of 2018; during this time, he was ranked 1st in both ''Melee'' for the [[Arkansas Power Rankings]]. While he has been inactive since 2018, Arby has committed to maining {{SSBM|Fox}} in the few events he has entered.
