*In Dr. Light's trophy, it states that Mega Man's true name is Mega. While this is true in the ''Mega Man 1'' remake ''Mega Man: Powered Up'' (and ''Mega Man 11'', which came out after ''Smash 4''), his official name is actually Rock. This is corrected in the PAL version.
*Although Dr. Wily has a trophy on both the 3DS and Wii U versions, his pose is different between versions. His trophy is the only trophy besides the fighters' alternate trophies in ''Smash 4'' to have different poses in both versions. Wily's 3DS trophy depicts his pose when surrendering at the endings of the original ''Mega Man'' games after being defeated, while his Wii U trophy is posed identically to [https://megaman.fandom.com/wiki/File:Wily9.jpg his official ''Mega Man 9'' artwork].
*Zero's trophy states that he appears in ''Mega Man X'' and ''Mega Man Zero''.
