FreaknRican (A.K.A. "Mr. Sausage") is an American smasher residing in the New London area of Connecticut. Having chosen Mr. Game & Watch as a main, he is, if anything, a rare breed.

It goes without saying that FreaknRican exhibits an unusual and refreshing playstyle, marked by heavy focus on Mr. Game & Watch's aerial capabilities and movement patterns, most of which are entirely foreign to competitive players. FreaknRican's Game & Watch is also characterized by a sort of slow-moving, calculating defensive play which can spontaneously burst into rapid movement and a flurry of attacks, surprising and bewildering his opponents. Making use of a low-tier character, FreaknRican's defensive game is well-developed, and he is able to hold his own against players of equal skill behind higher tier characters.
Occasionally venturing to play his secondaries Samus and Yoshi, FreaknRican displays particular skill with meteor smashes in edgeguarding, a sort of pinpoint accuracy which he uses to shame other players into embarrassed submission. Particularly with Samus and Mr. Game & Watch, FreaknRican is infamous for his projectile-pelting barrages which he uses to damage his opponents and hold them down while he prepares a daring finisher.

FreaknRican is a member of Connecticut college's Intramural Smash League (ISL) and its competitive crew Team Oxygen Destroyer. He made his first official tournament appearance in the Connecticut College Gaming Club's Megascreen tournament where, teamed with VladimirTheBadimir, he placed fourth out of seventeen competing teams.
FreaknRican is generally known as a surprisingly nonchalant and non-competitive player who exhibits an enthusiastic and yet friendly attitude during play. He and Sprucetengu are said to be the two "madmen" of Team Oxygen Destroyer for their eccentric behavior and overwhelming energy. The two often team up in the notorious duo "Dr. Rape and Mr. Sausage".
