Updating the French Flag[edit]
The French flag was changed by the French prime minister a few months ago, so I tried to update the file, but saw that it was protected from editing. Can an admin, or someone who has editing power update the file?

Apparently both variants are in official use and neither is mandated over the other one in any context. The use of the navy blue variant seems to be mostly the personal choice of the sitting president rather than any indication given by law, so I would be inclined on just following Wikipedia on this.
