The switching .gif left room for doubt due to the changing position of Sandbag between the shots. Showing the differences this way clearly allows one to see Sandbag's position and scale are identical between versions, proving that it is the platform's size has changed and not merely the camera's location.

Also, it's a still image, so it's more efficient.
