Super Smash Bros. Melee

The Central Canada Smash Circuit, or CCSC, is the first organized attempt at creating a regional competitive gaming circuit for Super Smash Bros. Melee across the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The CCSC was founded to encourage stronger competition for the players in those regions, as well as to establish an arranged series of tournaments to offer additional incentive for newcomers. The publicity side of the operation is primarily run by the foremost community-savvy liaisons of the area such as RJM, FastFox and FalseFalco, however it is considered a communal effort on the whole as individual territorial leaders assume the bulk of their own administrative responsibility.

[edit] ProImpact.ca

In April of 2007, the CCSC launched www.proimpact.ca. Named for Pro Impact BI-WEEKLY Smash in Calgary, the website houses an active and retroactively-updated roster of smashers in the Central Canada region as well as statistics including win-loss data, tournament standings, seasonal league standings and individual profiles for each competitor. As of 2012, ProImpact.ca has been shut down and no longer functions as a hub of CCSC activity. The website also included forums of its own for more in-depth discussion of CCSC-related events.
