Umebura F.A.T. (ウメブラ FAT) was a Japanese Super Smash Bros. for Wii U major organized by Ayuha in Ota, Tokyo on September 21st to 22nd, 2015. It stands for Umebura First Anniversary Tournament, and is a large-scale commemorative tournament of the Umebura series's one-year anniversary. It was the first non-exhibition Smash 4 tournament in Japan to feature top North American competitors such as Nairo, Ally and Vinnie. It was livestreamed on Twitch by SHI-Gaming.
Ruleset[edit]
Singles[edit]
- Starter stages were Final Destination, Battlefield, and Smashville. Standard stage striking was used.
- Counterpick stages were Town and City, Lylat Cruise, and all Ω forms. There was one counterpick stage ban, but Dave's Stupid Rule was not used.
- Final Destination and Ω forms would be banned at the same time.
Doubles[edit]
- All singles counterpicks became doubles starters, including all Ω forms. Standard 1-2-2-1 stage striking was used. Striking Final Destination also struck all Ω forms.
- Sheik and Mr. Game & Watch on the same team was banned.[1]
